Springfield Fire Department Promotion Ceremony

The Springfield Fire Department is welcoming several new members to its command staff. After a nationwide search, Fire Chief David Pennington has appointed two assistant fire chiefs, a division chief and two new battalion chiefs to serve the City of Springfield. Assistant Chief of Support Services Olan Morelan, Assistant Chief of Operations Bryan Newberry, Division Chief of Community Risk Reduction Kevin Trogdon, and Battalion Chiefs Heith Aldridge and Eric Latimer were sworn in at the ceremony.
