A special ordinance approving a Petition to Establish the Kansas and Kearney Community Improvement District; authorizing the City Manager to execute a Cooperative Agreement between the City, the Kansas and Kearney Community Improvement District, and Kansas & Kearney Intersection Center, LLC; and directing the City Clerk to notify the Missouri Department of Economic Development and the Greene County Clerk of the creation of the District.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to accept and appropriate a 2017 Fiscal Year Fire Prevention and Safety grant through the Federal Emergency Management Agency to fund fire prevention activities; amending the budget for the Fire Department of the City of Springfield, Missouri, for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 in the amount of $28,500, which contains a five percent match requirement in the amount of $1,357; and declaring this Ordinance qualifies for approval on one reading pursuant to Charter Section 2.16(25).
