Know Your Parks – December 2013

The December-January 2013-14 edition comes from the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center in Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park. Even in winter, Botanical Center is a hub of activity, with a variety of holiday programs, including the Holiday Train Garden Display, and reservations for spring weddings already rolling in. Just across the park, the historic Gray-Campbell Farmstead is getting a new neighbor: the century-old Liberty School house. We’ll learn more about this one-room school and why it’s moving to the park.
