Springfield-Greene County African-American Heritage Trail officially launched at Park Day 2018

The organizers of Springfield-Greene County’s African-American Heritage Trail project unveiled an artist’s rendering of the trail’s first marker at the annual Park Day Reunion, Saturday, Aug. 3 at Silver Springs Park, The historic park is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The official marker will be installed in the park in 60-90 days.
