Connecting Our Community With Love

United Way of the Ozarks and the City of Springfield began the Have Faith Initiative during the pandemic as a way for the faith community, local government and the nonprofit community to come together and keep communication flowing. Together with the Interfaith Alliance of the Ozarks, the HFI has put together a float for the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival with the theme “Connecting the Community with Love.” Participating faith organizations include: The Venues; Unitarian Universalists; Second Baptist Church; Bahai Faith; Temple Israel; National Avenue Christian Church; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; American Mormon Park; Islamic Center; Community Partnership of the Ozarks; South Street Christian Church; Central Christian Church; Unity Springfield; Yearly Chapel UMC; Trinity Presbyterian Church; Springfield-Greene County Health Department and Brentwood Christian Church.
