A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to enter into an
agreement with BNSF Railway Company (“BNSF”) for the purpose of accepting funds
not to exceed $40,000 for evaluating the feasibility of proceeding with additional
services to raise the Jefferson Avenue Footbridge as part of the Rehabilitation of the
Jefferson Avenue Footbridge project; and approving a budget adjustment amending the
Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget of the Department of Public Works in the amount of
$40,000 to appropriate the BNSF Railway funds for design services.

14.2. Council Bill 2025-017 (Simpson)
A special ordinance approving and authorizing the Director of Planning and
Development to accept the dedication of public streets and easements to the City of
Springfield, Missouri, as shown on the Preliminary Plat of Chimney Rock Subdivision,
generally located at 3040 South Arcadia Avenue, upon the applicant filing and
recording a final plat that substantially conforms to the preliminary plat; and authorizing
the City Clerk to sign the final plat upon compliance with all the terms of this Ordinance.
